bella soy
hello I am currently testing EZ Soy container wax from Cierra Candles. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what type of wicks work well with this type of wax? Zinc, cotton, Braided etc....?:smiley2:

Meridith
EZSoy is a brand that BCN sells. Are you sure you aren't using another wax?
Candle Makin Momma
I wondered that myself. On my box of EzSoy it says it was a name trademarked by Bitter Creek, so I wondered if they sold it to other distributors, but just trademarked the name. babyrn
I don't think BCN distributes out their wax. Their EZSOY comes in flake form and Cierra doesn't carry a soy wax in flake form. I don't even think they carry a 100% soy.
Bev
If you are, in fact, using EZSoy, I like Eco wicks.
Meridith
I believe EZSoy is the same as the 415 and the KY Pure but sold under those trademarked names. Cierra carries the CB waxes which I believe are blends. EZSoy is 100% soy. For the 100% soys, HTPs, CDs and ECOs are all good wicks to use. iammommytwo
are you pouring at 100, because of the temp?? or are you pouring because that is when it starts to get slushy?waiting until it's slushy is best, IMO.HTH
Liz D.
I use EZSoy and have never gotten any air bubbles whatsoever (only get air bubbles with Ecosoya PB, grrr)... Is it possible that you are stirring really fast or with a stirrer that is causing a lot of air pockets? Just thinking out loud here.. would love for you to figure it out so you can love EZSoy as much as a lot of us do! Let us know what happens..Liz D. Candle Man
If you are using 100% EZ-SOY and you let it cool and you stir when it is cool that will add air bubbles.IMO - I never liked 100% EZ-SOY I only got great results as a blend. I can pour hot, no frosting even in dark colors, no bad tops and still has a great throw Cold & Hot.
