angied
Exactly what is a emulisified sugar scrub, I have made just plain sugar scrubs. And I have the recipe for the bohunks but I dont mean to sound stupid but what is the difference? I have tried searching for other recipes but this is all I came up with.Anige
xsami3000x
I've seen the regular scrubs and made bohunk's, the difference I see is that an emulsified scrub is like a lotion or butter with sugar suspended in it. It's nice and creamy, when you scoop it out it stays in your hand and doesn't slide between your fingers. Hope that helps.Sami
angied
xsami3000x, Thats kinda what I thought but wasnt for sure....regular scrub is more, for lack of better words, oily and emulisified is more creamy. Yes that does help, thanks so much:grin2: Angie

Crafty1_AJ
Yup, an emulsified scrub has a consistent look -- everything is all mixed together. The other kind has separate layers of oil (floating on top) and the more solid ingredients on bottom. They are meant to be mixed together before you use them. RobinInOR
They're great, they're like 1/2 of a lotion. The water from the bath/shower completes the lotion making so they feel even better than a regular oily scrub.
