MsDammit
Not familiar with this, but was thinking of adding some to my shea butter, does anyone have any good/bad feedback on this oil?
Gene
I have a lot of concern about the amount of pesticides used on cotton crops

RobinInOR
Same concern, I won't even eat anything with that as an ingredient (if it's listed)

sudsnwicks
Wow, I wasn't aware of that. I've seen it as an ingredient in Japanese restaurants before (they fry with it).
elle110
Cotton seed...BAD, BAD, BAD, not good for you, should not even be considered a food product, loaded with pesticidesI know you are asking about soap making but I am going to throw in my 2 cents worth on what "FAT" you should not eat, anything with "hydrogenated oils". Finding products in your regular grocery w/o is almost quite challenging but can be doneOK, off the soap box, that is the only one I can think of off the top of my head that I would not use in soap. I don't use anything in B&B with mineral oil or petroleum either.Michelle
sudsnwicks
Cotton seed...BAD, BAD, BAD, not good for you, should not even be considered a food product, loaded with pesticidesWow, it is good you are telling me this. This was a higher end, classy restaurant too, so naturally I had assumed (incorrectly) that this was an oil with a more luxury quality. Now I know better.
