linwvr Posted April 3, 2006 Share Posted April 3, 2006 hot glue here...the only time i had one come loose is when i had my oven on BROIL instead of WARM and to top it off, i reached into the oven with my bare freakin' hand to get the jar and nearly burned my fingers off...they peeled for weeks! i'll NEVER to that again...but hot glue works great Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AngelaVA Posted April 3, 2006 Share Posted April 3, 2006 Wick Stickums or silicone work the best. The silicone works really well, but requires that you let it set-up. Stickums work immediately. Crafty1_AJ Posted April 3, 2006 Share Posted April 3, 2006 I use wick stickums on the bottom of the wick sustainer tab too. What did you use to secure the wick at the top of the jar while the candle cooled? Because wax shrinks as it cools, and unless you attach the wick firmly to something at the top of the jar as well, the cooling wax will pull the wick off center at the top.
