Jeana Posted March 31, 2006 Share Posted March 31, 2006 I use it in a mixture of other things for my salts. Of course a major pro is the price and I don't have to pay shipping. I don't see any cons to using it other than I have heard some of the more exotic salts may contain minerals that aren't in the regular salts. The kind I get isn't the pellets it is just rock salt. The solar salt that people are using lookes like rock salt without the dirty grey bits. It is from Morton and is in a blue bag. 40# bag at Costco is about $3.
