Accents
Hi everyone! I intended my first post to be an introduction, but my 2 year-old just changed that. I think she just put some water into my wax! The thing is I'm not certain any actually got in there; she's very quiet. Is there any way to tell if water's in my wax? If there is, it's just a little. Is there anything I can do about it? I could just cry! I'm sure I'll be able to laugh at this later but right now....Thanks!Amy
Vicky_CO
Actually you should be able to see it in the bottom of your pot. If you have water in your wax let it cool and you will find the water settled on the bottom of the wax. Wax density is less than waters so wax will always rise to the top. Accents
Thanks, Vicky! Just checked my wax, and it looks good so far. Not completely cool yet, but doesn't look like anything is in there but wax! I think I caught her on time!
Crafty1_AJ
Good for you! For future reference, if there's water in your wax you'll often hear popping/crackling sounds as the wax heats up. Not a fun sign. LOL But yes, it sinks to the bottom and you should be able to see droplets down there. Water ... not what you want to see in wax! :embarasse hehe
