violetmoondrops
For Christmas last year my sister bought me a pail of the gel candle stuff that the craft store sells. While thoughtful, I've never made gel candles before ...I'd like to use this up if possible, rather than selling it. Any ideas for something quick and easy that I can do with this to make it pretty?I have regular candle wax, soy wax, and regular candle color dyes ... also some wicks & containers. I doubt my regular candle wax (as embeds) would be stable enough to hold up when the hot gel is poured over it?Thanks in advance!
Vicky_CO
Here is something you can do make chunks with it then over pour them with any contianer wax.Making chunks with it is easy. Melt, color and pour on to a cookie sheet then when cooled cut with scissor or just pull apart depending on the look you want.

wonderfullywicked
Don't forget to add some cosmetic glitter to those gel embeds!
ladysj
I am needing ice cube embeds for my gel wax glasses. Is there anyway that I can make my own? Would a regular wax work for this? I have some 160wax.Sorry I thought I put this under a new thread.
Vicky_CO
That is okay it is along the same way I do my ice cubes I pour unscented uncolored gel on a cookie sheet and then cut in to cubes. The contrast between the scented colored gel and the uncolored really shows up and they look real.
