Chandler Hill Posted August 8, 2005 Share Posted August 8, 2005 Well I did the local Summer Wine Festival and thought weather would hold out WRONG!!!We set up and got a lot of lookers at 1st and a few shoppers then the down pour of rain came!! I put 3 sides up on tent and we bought a bottle of wine and just sat in the rain! People ran to cars or the gift shop or the inside and umbrellas then what I thought would be terrible thought it had set in a break!! Then we had a good run and then rain again and then did a good run! LOL We were muddy and wet up to our knees and the table cloths were muddy and wet !!!! LOL Was fun and wet and we had no booth fee and made over $300 and we were the only vendors that stuck it out! I did the Fall one last year and did good this year about the same had some repeat business so that was good! All in all rain and all was good day and we had gotten married Friday!
