kokopelli13
yeah, it's been a while. haven't touched my pot in months. anyway, i need help with tapers. i want to make them about 6 inches long and the molds i have that are quite old are like a foot long and they don't work well, they usually crack on me and i can't get them out. besides the time consuming dipping them one at a time, are there better ways? also, if anyone knows of a place i can maybe get a 6" taper mold that would be great!~Reenie

BoazGal
I just purchased that mold from candlewic. I wonder if anyone else has purchased the 12" church mold. I am having an awful time getting the wick inserted. Any ideas? I did spray it with release spray, I hope I haven't damaged it after spending so much on it.Thanks for the help. doris
www.mannlakeltd.com has silicone(?) taper molds of different lengths. They're usually easy to wick.

BoazGal
Thanks for all the help. I have just spent the last hour doing research on the taper candles and the standard taper mold is hard to find. I am on the way to your recommended site.
