eugenia
What kind of mold works best for making cold pour rustic pillars?I've only been successful with seamless aluminum. I know Tanya has gotten other types to work, but I could not.e
Amberlei
I've had good luck using molds in a variety of different materials and never had a problem making rustics. I think it depends more on the pouring temp. than the mold type.
Dee
Well... I always thought aluminum, but the last two I did in polycarb molds and they turned out really well. I cooled the molds in the fridge and made sure my pouring temps were low. I liked being able to see what was going on. However, I do find the molds get cloudy but they still work.
