White Vs Yellow Beeswax

I'm making some perfume creams and bought yellow rather than white

beeswax.

Not being familiar with beeswax. I noticed when I opened the package

of yellow beeswax, it has a slight odor.

Does both yellow and white beeswax have a odor or just the yellow?

And, will this effect the fragrance of my perfume cream?

I have been cleaning my own beeswax now for several months, and it has a distinct difference in smell than the processed bleached beeswax. I expected it to smell more like honey but it does not. I have a couple of fragrances that it tends to interfere with in lotion bars, on is Amazing Grace, just takes the GRACE out of it LOL

I make solid perfumes and because it is such a small amount no interference.

Also, just a note, if coloring lotion bars ( I use jojoba spheres) the yellow beeswax will interfere with the color. For example, if I try to make a blue one it turns more greenish.

I think I am going back to the white w/my lotion bars due to they are my #1 seller and I cannot have any interferency in the end product but will use the yellow for other products
