CranberryGirl
And It should have been My first!! I took the chance and made 100% Castile bar tonight! And You know, It should have been the very first bar I ever made! It is A usable thing..I don't see much room for failure! Only if You get Your lye and water wrong! As You all Know I have wicked dry skin! And the thought of using an all oil bar is Great except I am not nuts about the smell..But U know.It was sooo cool to do! And I was not scared at all..I did not add, color or scent..But I did add ground up oatmeal..for texture and to see if it has any scrubbing action...From this new person to any new person..If You wanna play with a cool bar try a Castile bar! You get to see the whole process..And no worries about seizing and stuff..Just my view point! I had fun an made an awesome bar of soap..Just tucked it in for the night! Maybe in a day or so I will see it again!!! LOL!!Thanks for letting me ramble!HugsTara

fabulousfunfur
I love an all olive oil soap too. I do make mine with 90% olive oil, and 10% castor and it works great. I don't add any colorants/fragrances. I just made a batch of it last night!Good job on 100% olive oil. I wasn't sure how that would work, because I haven't tried it.
