geekrunner
I have quite a bit of leftover FO that is Christmas named, such as MC Christmas Eve and Gemlite Christmas Spice. I don't want it to go bad before next season, so would it be OK to make them now and shelve them till December?geek
Scented
Sure. There's no problem with it. You'll have stronger candles in a year lol!
sudsnwicks
My FOs last a long time, certainly more than a year after I've bought it. So if you decide to wait, there should not be a problem. If you make them now, you could rename them with less festive sounding names, or just wait until next holiday. I've also heard there are people who like festive wintery scents even in the middle of summer. Either way you choose, you can't really go wrong. gerrie
I agree with scented, you'll have a stronger candle next year I actually have some from 5 years ago, they are just fine. But you can keep your oils for more than a year, just make sure they are kept in a cool dark place, that really helps them. I've only had a few oils go bad on me, and most of them were 4-5 years old. But I always keep them in a dark closet, in a cool basement.
