USPS Changes coming July 9, 2023

Just got the update from Team Shippo:

 

To provide a simple, reliable, and more affordable way to ship packages up to 70 lbs in 2-5 business days, USPS is merging First-Class Package Service^® and Parcel Select Ground^® into a single, streamlined ground service level called USPS Ground Advantage™. This new service level is going into effect on July 9, 2023.

What You Need to Do to Prepare

On or after midnight EST Sunday July 9, 2023:

• If you use parcel templates, you will need to migrate your templates from First Class Package Service or Parcel Select Ground to Ground Advantage. You may also want to consider new pricing, service levels, and dimensions for those templates.
• If you assign First Class Package Service or Parcel Select Ground as your service levels through automation rules, you will need to update those to Ground Advantage.
• If you have flat rate pricing, you may need to reconfigure your pricing
