Can anyone recommend a cherry that doesn't smell like cough syrup or otherwise medicinal? Also not looking for cherry taffy/candy or anything like that. Thanks! TallTayl Posted March 11, 2021 Share Posted March 11, 2021 This is a tall order for sure! I’m with you about black cherry fragrances being a disappointment in candles. I have found a couple of tart cherry lip flavors (which could often serve in other applications like soap and candles). you may be able to blend a few tart scents, like mulberry and currant to get the scent profile of a tart cherry.
