lovelyscents
...verify that the oil smells as it should? For example a nag champa or a dupe, I have smelled many different versions of the same oil and unsure which is authentic. Thank you!
aptommo
I think maybe visit a store that sells the incense and compare with your own nose. That's what I've done on several of the BBW Type scents that were different but I wasn't familiar with before buying the FO.

If it's a dupe that you can access (BBW, Yankee, perfume, etc) I would run up to the store and do the sniff test. If it's a perfume dupe, make sure to spritz a piece of paper and take it with you. If it comes in wax form than buy one and compare it at home with the oil.
