JudyN Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 I just ordered a new mold that I'm excited to get. It is 6 x 6.5 (3 wicks). Do I use three of the wicks that I normally use for the 3 inch wide molds? This is for paraffin. Thanks for your help. Quote
Breanna Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 I order most of my molds from pourette and they will send some wick with it,,,now its going to look like a rope,,LOL,,Not kidding,,LOL,,,I use 36 ply flat braid for my larger molds...I use raw wick and prime it myself,,,HTH Quote

SatinDucky Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Seems like a few people here said they use 3 of the 30 ply. My 3 wicker didn't come from Pourette, hence no wicks in pack, but almost every single mold I've gotten from them came with a #1 or #1/0 square braid. Whatever size it recommends on the mold page is what will come with it. That's usually as good a good size to start testing with. Quote
