Bear suggestions

Ok, I'm working on a couple bears, but they need help. Neither are dipped yet, not until I figure out how I want them. This first one is for V-day. I know the hat's too big, but not sure what else to do with her....

Then this lil guy need something. I would like a red & blu baseball cap, but haven't found one. Thinking maybe putting a little American Flag on a stick in his hand for the 4th of July...

There is someone selling bear accessories in the classifieds...I think I saw baseball caps.

those bears are pretty, but i didn't know you could dip the ones with the smooth fur, thought it had to be scraggle. heck i have found new bears like those in thrift stores and other places but would n't buy them:sad2: . love the one in the red sweater.

Yup, you can dip them. They just don't take as long to pick out the fur. Kinda like running a comb over a buzz cut I started out with about 8 and these are the last two I have.

Thanks Ducky, i love this place ... i learn something new every time i come on it . i was at thrift shop the other day and a lady had brought some bears in while i was there, cleaning out some of her baby's stuffed animals, she said and they were all good brands , i saw a couple od RUSS in there, but dumb me thought since the fur was like smooth, i couldn't dip them, now i know.
