Question for container palm users

Recommended Posts

I've poured lots of palm pillars, but am just now starting to experiment with container palm candles.  I know that soy candles burn differently in a cold room as opposed to a warm room.  Is this also true for palm wax?  Or do ambient temps when burning the candle not make any difference in burn rate?

AJ, I have not been making palm candles long enough to make a decisive statement, but my gut feeling is that the ambient temp should not be as much of a factor as soy. Now, that's assuming we're talking about 65-80 degrees, and not a massive fluctuation.

The wax is so hard to begin with, and the wicks are really hot, I can't imagine that a 10-15 degree difference would make that much of a difference. But, again, I haven't tested for that specifically, so this just my gut talking! 😄
