Wow, I have never heard of using those as air fresheners.  I would think the can lid would be a strong enough "smell" by itself.  My Ex was a baseball player and he always had cans of skoal everywhere...I hate that stuff...at least my boys were smart enough to skip that ugly habit!!

I agree! I can't stand the smell and even hesitated to make the fresheners for her but she supplied the cans. I washed the lids out really good with soap and hot water and I couldn't smell the tobacco smell. I'm glad my husband or my boys never tried this or smoking either.  A couple of my brother in laws dip though and my grandmother and grandfather both dipped snuff UGH!!!! I didn't realize it was so gross when I was a kid LOL!
