stevieg
Hi guys, I'm a total newb here and recently discovered this forum after only making candles for about a week now. I am wanting to know what wicks you personally find to work best for your container candles when using 6006 wax. I've searched the forums and some of the posts are a little bit older, just wanted to see what everyone is currently using now. I will be using 8oz straight sided jars (3.25" height, 2.75" diameter), with 6-7% FO PP 6006 wax, no dye. I wanted to order wicks to sample based off of experienced chandlers suggestions. Thanks in advance!
Neli1980
Hi stevieg I use HTP wicks with success in my straight sided jars using 6006. I really like CDs/CDNs but I've found they make my jars too hot.

Flicker
And I use this wax and have for two decades. I like the CD which is my go to wick, or Eco which I've had a few jars wick best with.
