Kheidtbrink
Hi! I'm a newbie! I Was just curious what you all do with candles with bad wicks? I'm new and am learning so it's user error, but want to get the most from them. Do you put them in the oven and re pour? I will be having many more questions, but that's all for now! thanks for the help! Kiley
Jcandleattic
Pull them out and try a new wick. There are several threads on the board as to how people achieve this. Most don't anchor the wick until they are sure that wick works. That way it's much easier to pull it out, and replace it with a different sized wick.
Moonstar
Ive never tried this method. For me, it would be too difficult to center the wick after the wax is poured.

Sometimes, I even just skewer a hole, and then put the wick down in the hole. If your skewer is small enough it can fit inside of a wick centering tool.
