Candybee
Anyone know a good one? Or know where I can find some? I'd like to start making some and add to my men's line.
Candybee
If it helps I have decided to do an after shave skin toner. So I will be using witch hazel, a little alcohol, something moisturizing like glycerin, and some essential oils. Just hoping someone here has some experience in making facial toners. Also, been looking for sites with recipes particularly men's after shave toner recipes or information on how to make one. Could use some help. Thanks. Guest OldGlory
I don't have a recipe for this, but I was going to suggest witch hazel. In commercial witch hazel there is already a lot of alcohol so I don't think you would need to add more. You can use it alone as a toner/astringent. You will probably need some polysorbate 20 also to emulsify the WH with the FO or EO.
Candybee
Thanks for the tips Old Glory. I finally did find a few toner recipes. I am tabling that until I can do some more research on it. Lately I have been looking into making handmade shaving brushes. Its fascinating but expensive.
