Jcandleattic
I remelted my homemade m&p. It takes a bit to incorporate the color, but once I did it was okay. It did boil over, and it also got a skin over the top very fast, but didn't harden very quickly. All in all, I like it, and I think I will like it even more once I get used to it. I used the red mica, but you know, when using opaque it doesn't get very bright. I'll have to try it in real CP to get a real sense of the color. Oh and when I cut a bit off, there is a clear streak inside of it. Not sure what that was about, but eh, it's all an experimentation.
Candybee
That is so very cool! I wonder if adding a little TD next time will even out the white. I know all white M&P bases have TD in them. Or maybe you like the clear part?
Jcandleattic
I like the clear part. I would love it if it was clear and I know there is a way to make it clear, but I just don't want to add any sugars or alcohol at least not until I experiment some more with this. Also, this method was so easy it's unbelievable. I melted down some more, and made some more shapes. No boil overs this time. I love it, and the feel of it is incredible. Next test - using the remelts and shapes as embeds in CP. Also seeing how easy it is to cut after it has sat for a week or so. I live in a pretty dry climate, and with winter here it's even drier, but so far there is no sweating. I don't know if that's because it's not prone to sweating or if it's because it's so dry here, but my clear M&P sometimes will sweat, so ??
