Wax color simulator

So, using base colors one can mix different colors and shades. Do you happen to know any color simulator to show what color one will get mixing base colors on certain proportions? (something like RGB picker in IT)

Are you talking about mixing primary colors (red, yellow and blue) to make orange, green, brown, purple, etc?

Yes, exactly. I wonder what does change if one increases or decreases some dye proportion.

I used paint as a reference when learning .

If wanting to mix a Robins Egg Blue, for instance, google the color and many sites will tell the basic proportions. It takes a little getting used to with your wax and individual brands of dye, but now with only three bottles of color i can match just about any color in wax.

Wax chips may be a wee bit easier to measure out for consistent results. A tiny gram scale will help ensure equal measurements each time.

An art supplies store will also sell a color wheel, which shows how to mix colors.

Exactly what TallTayl said about Google, and what OldGlory said about the color wheel. A color wheel can be found in most art supply stores. They can be simple or elaborate but all do the same basic thing.
