Ravens
I use essential oils for most of my CP soaps. I have noticed that some suppliers offer a blend of EOs; for example, tea tree and lavender. I'd like to know how much of each EO is in that bottle, though. Is it 50/50? Reason I ask is that I do not use equal proportions of EOs. When using tea tree and lavender, for example, I use more lavender than tea tree, unless I have a specific purpose in mind, in which case I use more tea tree than lavender. So, does anyone know? Would the supplier know? Perhaps safer to add them individually, that way I'd know "for sure"?TIA :-)
TallTayl
I would ask the vendor if buying a pre-blend. I'm the type that prefers to blend my own. EO's change from year to year, crop to crop. Sometimes you need to tone down one over the other. Sometimes i prefer a different species of the oil than the vendor uses.
Ravens
You're right, I think I'd better stick with what I've always done, mix them myself, that is. Going to place an order in a few minutes.Thank you, TallTayl :smiley2:
