HayCreekCandles
Okay I need some advice/opinions. I made a batch of 2 lb of MP last night and added Lemongrass EO from Brambleberry with 1 tablespoon of lemon zest for color. I added 2 tablespoons of EO and now I am wondering if I buggered it up because it to me seems really strong and I can't help but think the "general rule" for EO is 1 teaspoon PP not tablespoon. Do I need to rebatch this and add more MP to it to even things out or will it be fine?? I guess I should mention the batch has 1/2 cup goats milk, 2T shea and 1 T cocoa butter, plus olive oil and jojoba oil. It was I believe prairieannies recipes from one of the old threads. Candybee
For 2 lbs of base I add: 2 tbs FO or 1 tbs EOYou've doubled what I would have used. That's why its too strong. You can add more base to fix. Just melt it down, add more base, and remold.
HayCreekCandles
Ugh, That's what I thought but I wanted to check to make sure before I rebatched it. Thanks so much Candybee!!!
