so-soy Posted August 4, 2013 Share Posted August 4, 2013 If anyone out there is using this wax, do you think it could be scooped out of a jar/container once FO has been added etc.? For a scoopable tart/melt product used in electric melters. If its so soft and sticky I'm wondering if it could be used in this manner or have another wax added to it to cut down on the stickyness such as a 6006 wax or something. justajesuschick Posted August 4, 2013 Share Posted August 4, 2013 I have not tried scoopable but I would mix something else with 4627 if I were to try it. It is truly the consistency of vaseline. I did read (on their Facebook page) that RE was working on a new tutorial for scoopable. I just checked it out and it was not what I was expecting. LeahRB Posted August 4, 2013 Share Posted August 4, 2013 I agree with these guys. When I would scoop it out to make candles, it would get stuck all over my hands. I would have to continuously wipe my hands with a paper towel. It's really a nasty feeling, especially if you're a clean freak like me, lol.
