New here with a problem,I only made 5 candles before this and they all turned out very nice, until this one...........after the wax cooled, the wick became loose, not just at the top,but you can feel it move all the way to the bottom of the 8 oz jar

what happened,will it burn??

Thanks

Rob

It just means that when your wax cooled it pulled away from the wick. Could have also been a small air pocket. To check for an air pocket poke the wax around the wick using a bamboo skewer or chop stick. If you do find a pocket the stick will penetrate fairly easy into the wax revealing a hole. In any event, you can fill in the pocket by using a heat gun as Chris suggested.
