Luanne
Does anyone use pouring pots from the major craft stores? One of the stores has CS products. They are using a different name, but same mailing address. Can they really be any different than the ones from candle supply stores? craftsbychris
My original pouring pot is from ACMoore. It's the same ad the other 4 lb pouring pots.
Luanne
Thanks Chris. I also meant one of the stores has product from CW, not CS. It took me this long to realize what I typed:smiley2:Off to go buy another pouring pot.Luanne
marcuset
You're referring to Hobby Lobby, correct? If so, definitely. I have about 4 from there. I bought them w/ the 40% coupon & sales.
marcuset
I have 1 from Candle Science from a few years ago...absolutely no difference.
Luanne
Marcuset - AC Moore or Michaels (don't have HL near me). Michaels is who I meant that has CW products.
marcuset
Gotcha. I've been in the Michael's in my area - they do have the same pour pots - at least they did a year or so ago. I'm just spoiled with the HL nearby. :lipsrseal Edited June 11, 2013 by marcuset
Luanne
Since I never made it to the store today, that will be my project after work tomorrow. AC Moore is about 15 minutes away, Michaels about 20 and the HL is about 45-50.
ChandlerWicks
Did you find any of the 40% off coupons for Michaels?
marcuset
Did you know that Michael's & Hobby Lobby will accept each other's coupons? I just found that out recently.
Luanne
Michaels has a 50% one this week. Yes, I use Michales in AC Moore and visa versa all the time.
marcuset
Blasted anyway, I should just print out Michael‘s coupons! Hope ya find your pour pots for a good price. That makes a girl happy.
Scented
Only differences I found were ... the pots are readily accessible, but the price is better from a supplier than a craft store. I still have two of the originals I started with, bought at HL until I saw a better price.
blacktieaffair
I guess I'm lucky since I just do limited kind of runs on clams and change scents so often. I just use 4 and 8 cup glass measuring cups. I did have a few huge pour pots for dipping pine cones in, but I cringed when I had to buy that baby lol
Luanne
I just paid $9.08 including tax for the pot that holds up to 4lbs. (used 50% coupon). I don't know if I would have gotten it that cheaper from CW (the closest supplier to me and $25 min., which isn't hard to meet:tongue2: ) with the shipping. C&S is a bit higher. Like Scented said, it was easily accessible, and I need an extra pot.
Scented
Well I own about 10 pots and don't use them much any more. I should have thought about offering them lol, but then I may have to use that system again to get caught up with our candle stash.
emilyspoppy
You can get a free one with a $75 purchase from CW right now. It's a special offer.I have about 20 of them from CW and a half dozen of the 2 pounders (I bought them from Peak). I use them all of the time. I guess I'm stuck in the past.I'm picking up another one at CW when I check-out my cart which is already loaded.
