jackbenimble
I made a few batches of MP yesterday and when I mixed my clay/powders into my soap I used a stick blender. My issue is it made a whipped fluffy soft layer in my soap. the rest is nice and hard. Could I just cut it all back up and remelt and pour to fix the problem? Candybee
I wish I could see a pick. Sometimes what we think is an ugly mistake is actually very beautiful to others. For example, I think light fluffy soaps are da bomb! Edited March 5, 2013 by Candybee
jackbenimble
I wish I could see a pick. Sometimes what we think is an ugly mistake is actually very beautiful to others. For example, I think light fluffy soaps are da bomb!I have a video of it but its not up yet. I went ahead and remedied it. They still had a foamy layer to it but not as bad. I ended up pouring in layers to distribute it out. They came out okay IMO. I think my problem was I didn't make a paste out of my powders before I mixed them in and the stick blender made way to many bubbles. So when I sprayed it with alcohol I got a soft foamy layer that even when hard you could push on it and it would give.
