PeggyK
I have been asked to make a plain Fig candle/tart for my dear friend's sister.I see that many suppliers offer fig, but is there a real "oh yeah - that's FIG!" fig FO out there? (The BCN I have isn't true to my nose...)Thanks
se2653
Have you tried MW Sweet Fig? It is very sweet in wax. I can send you a sniffee if you want to try it out...
PeggyK
Oh, you are SO kind for offering to do that, but I don't want to trouble you! I haven't tried MW's Sweet Fig, but I actually have to place an order for a few pound bottles from her soon anyway - so I will certainly get a sample in my order. Thanks so much for the suggestion and the offer to help me! :smiley2:

PeggyK
Thanks. I have seen Sweet Cakes mentioned on this board in the past, but have never tried them. Hm. So if I got a sample of their fig, are there other FOs I should try out? I'm a sucker for trying new ones...
ChrisR
Thanks. I have seen Sweet Cakes mentioned on this board in the past, but have never tried them. Hm. So if I got a sample of their fig, are there other FOs I should try out? I'm a sucker for trying new ones... I LOVE their florals, lily of the valley is my favorite. I also use their green tea, mandarin orange, bitter almond, black raspberry, blueberry, flowerbomb (identical to the perfume), green irish tweed, irish spring, pomegranate, precious amber, santa's pipe & true rose. That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but I know there is more LOL. I use them all in CP soap also.
se2653
Their Cinnamon Apple Peach and Christmas Spice are wonderful in wax. I'm just starting testing them in wax.... I like the Amazing Grace in lotion. The Almonds and Honey are very strong, almost too strong, in lotion, haven't tried in wax yet...
