samandkennasmom
Does m&p have a shelf life? I bought 20# about 2 years ago and never did anything with it? Ya all think it's still good or no? TIA!
Candybee
Depends. The only way to be sure is melt some. If it gets gummy on top its a bit dry and needs some additives to help out with that. Maybe some olive oil, or glycerin, coconut oil, goat milk, etc. It happened to me once. Someone gave me some old bases in the the 2 lb blocks. Didn't know where they came from or who the manufacturer was. They were dry and got that gumminess to them so I just added some oils and butters and goat milk to them to give it some extra moisture.EBC bases are pretty soft so my guess is that they still have enough moisture in them to work with. If not, just try adding something to it.
