justajesuschick
I tried TCS and it is very good! I tried making my own blend and it was not as good. TN shows out of stock and I do not know if that will change now that they have reconsidered selling FO's.I would like to buy a big bottle and planned to get from TCS but as always thought that I'd check here first to see if you'd suggest another Spiced/Spicy Apples and Peaches before I do.Thanks! Here is the supposed twin to the one your looking for. Tennessee's Spiced Apples & Peaches = Sweet Cakes Cinnamon Apple Peach

8-GRAN-ONES
oob they smell the same..i have them..but have you called TN...i know some have said that they do not have all their fo's listed...
justajesuschick
I just read that Sweet Cakes mentions musk and sandalwood. I am not a musk nor wood scent fan. Do you get musk or wood out of TN's or Sweet Cakes?
ChandlerWicks
No musk, call TCS & ask. Their website is not being updated at this point it seems. I bought it, it's great but I'm on the hunt to find a replacement.
justajesuschick
Since I am newer to the game, one thing I promised myself was NOT to "fall in love" with any one FO nor wax that was only available one place. Too risky in this economy that it will disappear and I will be starting over from scratch. Thank you!!
ChandlerWicks
Even though it's been 19 months of everyday testing, reading I'm still new too. I'm also sticking with waxes that can be bought anywhere. FOs can be duplicated as long as you have enough left.
justajesuschick
Tonight I will begin testing some of those waxes that you so kindly suggested (or enabled, whatever...haha!).
ChandlerWicks
:embarasse I'm soooooooo tired of testing!
justajesuschick
Me, too!!I can see myself growing weary of it and just defaulting back to the blend I thought that I settled on prior. Now who does that sound like??? haha!
ChandlerWicks
Me I think, but could be everybody! Or maybe the others aren't as thickheaded.
justajesuschick
Haha! I meant sweet Jeanie!I think I am accidentally following a pattern you girls have set. OR just chasing my tail!!
jeanie353
I've went back to my original blend twice! Now I'm thinking I like a different one better but need to test more. 4627 with 25% 415. It burned so nice with awesome HT. But Chandler tried the same blend with another FO and is not getting the nice burn so we think it was the FO.I used WYW Perfect Pumpkin. Speaking of that....it doesn't smell like a pumpkin to me. It has awesome HT and a really nice scent but I get no pumpkin. So, on the hunt for the real perfect pumpkin. ChandlerWicks
I need more coffee, how could I not have known who you meant? No more mixing waxes for containers for me, I'm done!
justajesuschick
Tonight I am testing 415/4627 at a blend of 75/25. It is soft but not as messy as I expected. Still hold shape and bags are not as smudgy as I thought. Today I am testing 415/4625, 415/4794 and 6006/4794.ALL as melts. I cannot be trusted with a wick and a flame!! ChandlerWicks
Did you make any mixes of all soy? Bakery scents in soy are so much better then in paraffin. Mixing paraffin & soy, I can see in a container but not in a melt. I'm ducking in advance!

Still hold shape and bags are not as smudgy as I thoughtI think that will be a good one. 415 needs its cure but is one I can light up the next day and begin testing HT when it has paraffin in it. Every day the HT is better. Will be interesting to hear if you get longevity out of that blend with the soy in there. I found the same as Chandler with bakery scents in soy. They seem to take on another layer of scent depth.
justajesuschick
I guess I do not know a soy that can be poured into molds and stand alone as melts. I do not want to do clams but I could be open to portion cups.
ChandlerWicks
I believe the mix is Ecosoya PB/415.
justajesuschick
For crying out loud! The ONE, lone wax that I do not happen to have just sitting here.Off to see where I can order a pound or two...Send someone to find me if you do not hear from me in awhile in case I got lost! ChandlerWicks
That's the one soy I don't have either! Maybe Peaks? Let me know if you find it, please.
jeanie353
Me either. I tell ya, I'm not going there............
justajesuschick
All the usual suppliers have it but not if I just want a 1-2 pound bag of it. I went back to ebay and both of the ladies who sell small amounts of wax (that I got the 415 and 6006 from) do have it.
megandgarr
Well just great, now I might have to pull out my bag of 415 and give that a try too. I knew I shouldnt have read this thread. And here I thought it was perfectly safe because I wasnt interested in ordering any spicy apples and peaches, LOL... I havent been on the boards much in the last couple of weeks partially because of burnout and partially because I have been getting the house decorated for company that is arriving on Tuesday. I am intrigued because several folks have mentioned that the bakery scents smell much richer in a parasoy blend and about 75% of my scents are bakery. Is the 415 a container blend (sorry I am being lazy and dont want to go look it up)? If it is, then I guess I could try it with 4625 or 4794 at a 50/50 blend to start.
