tam1116
How in the world do you get the silicone out of the tube. I had the lid on it and it was in a ziplock bag. I poked the opening with a sharp object, it still won't come out. Any suggestions?????
Beth
I had to take the whole lid off & squeeze it right from the tube.

mzphee
I use the red one and it seals after I use it a few times, I try to squeeze it in a portion cup each time, and make sure I clean the opening of the tube really good
ksranch
yes, I have that problem too. I try to plan where I do a wicking "marathon" and do a whole bunch at one sitting. Just put them right back in boxes they came in until I need them. But even then I don't use a whole tube. When I cant get the top to open up the next time I just cut a corner off the bottom and squeeze it out from there.
jackbenimble
I use this stuff and this is my way to keep hole free- I stick a wooden skewer in (I use it to put it on the wicks too) and when I'm done I push it deep down in and take it back out. It leaves a tunnel in the tube and also a clean opening for the next use. HTH and he that all made sense.
lmc
I just use the tip of a steak knife and go around the inside edge...hard part comes right out and its ready to go.
lsbennis
I have the same problem , I do what Jackbenimble does and stab it with a skewer.
