  2. Im so sad ...I just went on her site the other night and saw her note...I just love her molds!
  3. That looks like a yummy brownie!!!!
  4. Actually...it didnt take long at all....I had 125 in one scent to make and the rest was either 15,20 or 30 of each scent...so I just did one at a time...had to drag everything in my kitchen cause my craft work shop isnt heated....course the week I started them in was in the 30's...so it took about 2 days and that was working for a few hours and then stopping for dinner and family things....she is going to be ordering monthly so I am happy!! VERY easy to make!!! and the best part...NO WICKS...YES!!!! LOL
  5. yup thats where I got them from!! Vickey is the greatest too!! I ordered 500 tart warnings and got container warnings by mistake...I emailed her and she sent me the replaced ASAP and told me to keep the 500 container ones at no charge!!!
  6. Okay...my 500 order is FINALLY done!!! Boy did I have some problems...1st trying to find 1oz foil liners... the wax...gave me such problems at first...then the lables...grrrrr I did find out that the 1oz liners are smaller then the cupcake papers but NOT as small as the mini muffin type....I didnt know there was a med size. I had a lady contact me a few weeks ago to order 500...course my thought at 1st was yeah right when she said she would rather send a check then paypal....well as it turns out....she sells them in a country store local to her and all the money goes to "Children in Need"...its a nonprofit corporation that her and her family came up with after losing there daughter (12yrs old) to Leukemia in 2005. Anyways....Here they are scents as follows: Hansel & Gretel's House...did this in gingerbread brown Country Gift shop...this one in blue Apple Dumpling...topped with a piece of apple Cinnamon Buns...topped with a mini cinnabun Warm Vanilla ...white (of course!) Vanilla & Pumpkin...pumpkin orange with vanilla icing spots Sugar Cookie...topped with a few sprinkles Banana Nut Bread...topped with a pecan Harvest Spice ...Green Vanilla Walnut...topped with a walnut Orange Cream Dream...topped with an orange slice Twigs & Berries...redish Apple Butter...topped with a apple piece (diff color from Apple Dumpling) Cinnamon toasted almonds...topped with cinnamon sprinkle Country Bumpkin...topped with pumpkin spice sprinkle Grandma's Kitchen...yellow with cinnamon sprinkled on top Granny's Zucchini Bread ...topped with raisin and white icing Monkey Farts ...topped with a banana piece Hot Buttered Popcorn ...topped with a few pieces of popcorn Carrot Cake ...lite orange Creme Brulee...vanilla colored with cinnamon sprinkled on top Gembertarrts...gingerbread brown with little bit of wax mashed to look like powdered sugar Love Spell...topped with a red little heart FORGOT TO MENTION: All "food" items that are the toppings are WAX too!!!...lol...just incase anyone is wondering!!!
  7. I think the love spell from peaks is a nice smell....now I dont think I would want to spell it all the time but it isnt bad....I'm not home so I cant go sniff and give a description (lol)...but I dont remember "crayons and grape koolaid"....lol
  8. wish I could answer that for you...we have a windstar and a full size station wagon and either are large enough for me...by the time i get all my goodies in there...there isnt room for my tables....so we end up with 2 or 3 different car loads....i could NEVER do a weekend show by myself!!! I'm lucky and my DH has a box truck (uhaul size...the smaller one)...he uses it for work...so its perfect ...everything fits in there with alot of room.
  9. I made some tarts with it...1st time I had ever used it too (bought it from peaks) and thought it smelled nice....where did you get your FO from?
  10. OH MY...I hope the heck not!!
  11. nope they made it worst...lol...1st off saying its soy...I thought I read that it wasnt and thats why they didnt market it as soy and then saying I am cooling to slow...I read on here that cooling slow helps...but neither of them worked...I tried putting the tarts outside in 20degrees...still cracked...I thought that was the reason...so I cooled them in a 70degree room....took longer but they did crack...so then I thought okay its the FO...tried both way again (slow cool/fast cool) with no FO at all even no dye and still they cracked!!!! Here is what I got from "Tim"...my 1st email was sent to someone else who cc me and then forwarded it to Tim....this was his reply with me cc again....I was questioning the age of the wax...maybe old wax or even expired wax would cause this problem... From the sound of what she is describing the tarts are cooling to slowly. She can put some fans to blow over them so that they cool faster. Another thing that can cause this is if large amounts of fragrances have been added to the wax. It does not have anything to do with age of the wax. This is something that soy does naturally but in the right conditions will not show up. Tim Murphy Renewable Chemical Corporation/NatureWax
  12. Thanks! I looked at the "sticky" and other then yours....no one adds anything into P-1...actually I dont remember seeing it other then your post either. I am going to try a few things....I didnt buy much so its not a big lost...I just wanted to see if it was a bad as I had heard....
  13. Ive never tried the C-3 but if its anything like the P-1...I dont think I ever will either!!! I've been looking around and found a few things I think I will try Add a few percent soybean oil or castor oil Change your pour temperature either up or down by 10 to 30 degrees this I tried already and it didnt help...just cause it to crack soon..lol As a last resort add about 10% to 20% beeswax So I am off to do some testing...if I fine something that works...I'll let you know!
  14. I bought some to play around with it and see if it is really as bad as I have heard and YES...it is JUNK!! I made tarts with it....at 1st it seemed fine and then they started cracking. Has anyone tried to add anything to it to see if it helped?? like olive or veg oil?? I thought I read some where about adding one of the 2 to wax...
  15. She is having a girl! We got together and bought all sorts of cross stitch things last Friday after we found out she is in there for a LONGG time...hoping anyways...she isnt due until May so the doc said the longer she can hold out the better...and they arent letting her come home until the baby is born...but by Monday morning she was bored with the cross stitch and the fact that she cant actually sit up in bed is driving her nuts!! I'm going to see about the bracklets...she may like that...she isnt very crafty...lol...she is the kinda person who cant sit still..thats why we cant think of what to get for her to do. Thanks again!!!
  16. Thanks guys! Her mom is trying to teach her how....lol....I dont know how to myself! I am going to let her use my lap top too...I hardly ever use...so that should waste some time for her too. If anyone else thinks of anything PLEASE let me know!!
  17. This may help you http://twopeasinabucket.kaboose.com/pg.asp?cmd=display&layout_id=1050524 Hope it does!
  18. A lady I work with....her daughter was admitted in the hosp last Thursday with contractions...though she isnt due until MAY:shocked2: They are keeping her in the hosp and on meds to try and hold off as long as they can so the baby's lungs and important organs can develop. Anyways....they are looking for ideas for crafts and what not she can do everyday....only so much TV you can watch and cross word books. She cant really sit up so it has to be something that can be done in a laid back....reclined position in a hosp bed. ANY ideas would be welcomed!! Thanks!!
  19. ugh....I think I would op for painting...though...to get paint to stick you may have to clean it anyways...I think it is from making candles/tarts....in my old house I didnt notice until I was moving and cleaning but the inside of my hood had a slight bit of black soot inside...that side of my kitchen just had more counter space and having a flat range I would just cover the counter and stove with newspaper and work...hey got me out of cooking dinner too!!!...lol...no but...that soot HAD to of been from making candles...and I was using a presto pot...not sure if it matters but also I was using parffin too
  20. There is country store not far from me that sell candles in salt & pepper shakers and also the glass sugar containers......they are all GREAT sellers!
  21. I just tried it (link) and it worked for me! http://www.snowdriftfarm.com/
