The link didn't work either in Firefox, but it works in IE. ??

Well, crud. Mine says "method not implemented" whatever that means.

Did anyone try the Subscriber Specials link in the email this morning? It's not working for me; just wondered if it's my computer or the link.

I've never heard of this company until I saw your other post about it. They claim "Our fragrances contain only Organic Essential Oils lovingly blended with natural plant materials." & I couldn't find a Sea Spray scent, but I found a "Shore Thing"? Is that the one? "A sharp crystal sun beats the hot white beach. The delicate wavy scents of Salt, Sand, and Sea Spray are laced with notes of Coconut and Driftwood essential oils."

Coconut wax makes a beautiful candle. I never finished testing it completely (translate = didn't spend long enough to get it wicked the greatest, lol). Accu-Blend makes it & sells it under California Candle Supply.

You can do a forum search and find a few discussions on it. hth

Okay, maybe I will rephrase....does anyone know what the scent description is? Is it straight cardamom or a mixture of other spices???? Any help at all would be great.
I googled my fingers off & couldn't find one.

I emailed Pure Attitude Cosmetics about the testing as she claimed was available on her website. Shockingly, she responded! She said she had trouble getting the report and has removed the claim from her website but here is what she sent me this morning. I'll re-type it since I can't figure out how to show the document here, lol. It's from Eurofins GeneScan Inc.
Customer: Nature's Gift International
Date Received: 1/18/10
Report Date: 1/21/10
Description: EcoSoya CB-Xcel
Lab Number: CF09499
Commodity: Soy Wax
Analysis: PCR Qualitative CaMV 35S promoter
Result: Negative
The target of the PCR analysis is a DNA sequence which is characteristic of various commercialized transgenic crops (GMOs), including Roundup Ready soybeans GTS 40-3-2. The 35S promoter DNA sequence was not detected in the sample.

TT, I don't have a store. I just sell stuff to get rid of stuff & make some extra $. Not sure why you don't get the 1st 50 free. Do you list as auction style or fixed price?
-
Karen not only alot better but alot cheaper.Scentsy is high on what they sell.
My husband went into a couple buskinesses that were burning scentsy melts(tarts). He actually came out ill.He makes our stuff since I was dx with BC but he got so sick from the scents these businesses had. I walked in one place with him.Got in the door and went back out. He knew what was the matter but he stayed and took the smell but not before coming out sick.I was surprised he didn't get sick inside .Those places have lost our business.

Because they were too strong? Or was it just a bad scent?
I think I would buy Sherlock Homie based on the name alone, lol.

The fees are slightly less for auction-style listings. & your first 50 listings are free each month (no insertion fees).

Have you tried this? What makes sweet lavender different?
No, I haven't, but now I'd like to, lol.

Maybe it's just the way they do the MSDS? The one for the all-soy wax also mentions paraffin all over it. ??
-
I did, but with a name like that, I can't find it, lol.

Do you have a link?

This is Marie Gale's take on it-
Some common drug claims for soap include: “anti-bacterial,”kills fungi,” “treats or cures eczema,” etc. Note that if a claim is made for an ingredient in the soap it is still considered a claim for the soap itself, so claiming that it contains tea tree oil which is “known to be antibacterial” can make the soap a drug.

Is SOAP a COSMETIC?
IF the soap is "true soap" (made from oil and lye), and the ONLY claims are that it cleanses and is soap, then no, it is not a cosmetics.
HOWEVER, if there are ANY claims that it (or any of the ingredients) moisturizes, soothes, softens, exfoliates or anything other that just "cleans", then it is a cosmetic. As a cosmetic, it requires the ingredients to be listed.
