We all know how very difficult wicking can be, but I think we might be worryimg a bit too much when testing wickless products.

TY...what wick's do you use with your C3? I use CD but it seems the throw is hit or miss lately. Have you had any wicking issues?
I use CDN's (I buy mine from Funflames) and haven't had any problems...but I haven't bought a case of C3 recently.

Ive been buying C3 from Lonestar for past few years and have never had any problems with the wax or LS...hth.
-
I use CS too...no off smell whatsoever and they work great.

Hi, I started with CBA, beautiful candle but ht left much to be desired, moved on to GB464 but didnt stay with it long then settled on C3.
I would make 3 tester jars with same fo but with different wicks ie ECO, HTP, CDN...then whichever 'burn' I liked best with that wax is the one I'd go with. Then start testing sizes to jar/fo. For the most part, I prefer CDNs and Premiers.
As far as the one ouncer's...make 2 jj (or whatever container you will be using) testers with different wicks for each fo to start.
For soy, I've gotten great results using 1 ounce fo to 12 ounces of wax...remember to let cure for a week if testing for ht. Hth

Ive made hundreds of candles over the past few years with Mainstay jars and to date, never had one crack or shatter. I did however, have a Ball jj's bottom seperate fronm the jar when I was melting it down in a pot of boiling water.
