  1. The best throwing and least complications for me is American Soy Organics millenium. Used to be Enchanted Lites millenium when I used it.  I only switched to 464 because the millenium cost is too high, for me  (after shipping).  Not a big change from 464 as far as wicking and pour etc, just BETTER results, less cure time, prettier tops, etc etc.   I really think you'd like it Trapp!  Candlesoylutions sell it also.   Pour is much cooler tho, at about 110

NG has an oil called Capri Olivo (I'm pretty sure), and it really does smell like a sunny Mediterranean island, just lovely!

I made some CP soap with it, and it performed very well. I bet it would make a great body spray too! I didn't test it in wax.

I love capri olivio. One of my customers said it smelled like a mediterranean spa.  (Alas, I wouldn't know).   I've used it in lotion, soap and melts, but have not been able to wick it for the life of me!

  3. Very Pretty!  you've got a good swirl going there, that is my biggest challenge :)   I've never used cocoa butter base, but my goats milk soaps come out pretty hard.  Layering is tough... you have to time it just right.  I've had quite a few come apart.  Good thing about M&P is that you can remelt the failed layer and try again.  Below is a link to a facebook group called melt and pour soap makers.  VERY good info there and so many talented makers.  I call it my "soap porn" page.  I literally drool over some of the beautiful soaps they make.  welcome to a new addiction :)

  5. I have tried the RE Frosted sugar plum and it smells very plummy.  I really like this one,   I wish it was bath and body safe :(   I also have Sugar Plum Fairy from indigo.  It is very sweet and I don't get a lot of plum out of it, but it is bath and body safe.

  6.   Hi Dave, welcome!

If only they would do that...(sigh).  Shipping is THE most expensive part of this business/hobby/obsession.  At least it is for those of us who live far away from a supplier.  The best we can do is try to find a wax that works, from a supplier closest to us.  Sometimes we get lucky and they will offer free shipping.  I just got in on EAP's free shipping a few months back...cut my cost for wax in half.  If you tell us your location I'm sure someone on here can tell you the nearest supplier  to you of your wax.

That's made to smell like the incense right? I used to love that but I can't place how it smells now. I've thought about grabbing a 1oz of it to see but haven't done so yet. Is it that bad? 😷

It's not THAT bad.  Yes it is made to smell like the insence.  Lots of people LOVE it...I'm just not one of them.

I have a lot of fragrances here that I bought to test for my mom that I honestly don't know how I'll stomach making them. I'm not a fan of really strong flowery type scents. She had 2 she really loves from buying tarts from others: God's Love and Sun and Sand and they both make me gag just smelling the bottles of FO. I'll have to get through it though for her! For customers I'm not sure I want to offer a fragrance like that, I'm afraid with my luck it would be my best seller and I'd never get it out from the back of my nostrils and find peace! 😂

My best seller is nag champa...i hate it, lol
