  1. I love your funky chunky candles, especially the square ones. Beautiful. *****
  2. Those are lovely Sabrina, as usual.
  3. Oh scented, I'm drooling, they are fabulous.
  4. The blue one (in the middle) definitely jumped out at me as far as spookiness and the colours in that are fabulous - I'd use that one.
  5. I also love the colours and the layers look great. Good job.
  6. Beautiful beading and candles and I hope the oil situation improves superfast. Every little helps and your contribution will no doubt be appreciated and valued - well done.
  7. I love all of those, the colours are beautiful.
  8. Your candles look beautiful and the colours are vibrant and rich. Lovely.
  9. Those cinnamon buns look good enough to eat. The colours are beautiful.
  10. Hi Linda, Those colours look great - I like it. If you want to get smooth lines, try heat gunning the mould a little on the outside near the top of the layer you have just poured, that way the top of the new layer will be smoothed out where it touches the mould. Like you have already said, it's just practice. Well done.
  11. They're beautiful - well done.
  12. I'm only making a couple more today and then I shall have to get stuck into jewellery making, so I'll give you guys a rest then, inbetween I shall be running backwards and forwards to radiotherapy everyday for the next six weeks - life is never boring! These are yesterday's - I actually made four but the other two were begging for a remelt so today I've made them purple and am pouring them now - no doubt I'll put them in the gallery tomorrow. I've fragranced them a blend I like - orange, sandalwood and cinnamon - it smells great. Hope you enjoy looking, Cheers,
  13. This is my favourite colour to mottle as it always looks like the sky to me, so I decided to add the sun for fun. Fragranced with lavender and cucumber. Hope you enjoy having a look. Cheers,
  14. Thank you all. I've already got a request for another candle party following the upcoming Sunday one, from a lovely neighbour who has just discovered I create candles so I shall be a busy bee in the next few weeks. As long as I can keep making them I'm happy.
  15. Hi everyone, Here are some more chunky candles and a group of brown mottles to add to my collection - I'm hoping a lot of them will sell next Sunday. I hope you enjoy having a look. The coffee mottles photo turned out a bit blurry, but I think you'll get the general idea of what they look like. Cheers,
  16. I am drooling, all that space is fantastic and I love it.
  17. Hi everyone, I've been busy but finally got time to take some photos and share what I've been up to. I hope you enjoy having a look and I welcome any comments. Thank you,
  18. You could try it with a hair dryer but I don't think the heat would be intense enough. Have a go. Also try it without heating it and you will see the difference, you may like that too.
  19. Thanks Pat, that sounds really good and I shall give it a try.
  20. I like them Sabrina. What is it about them that you do not like? Good rustic effect, great colours.
  21. Hi ChaChing, Thank you for your comments. Yes, I filled the mould with triangular chunks and then poured hot plain wax over them, tapped the outside of the mould with a spoon and then heatgunned it, to melt the coloured chunks into each other a bit. Have a go at it and if you have any further queries, feel free to contact me again. Cheers, Jo
