The Bella link has some great information on it. I am wondering if I heat a thin blade knife if I could penetrate a pillar and create a place for a ww.
Hmmm!
Maybe a drill? hot drill. They need to make a WW pin for pillars so they can be removed. Gotta be something at Lowes or HD that could be used.

How funny. Aztec says to use 6-8% FO and dyes for best results/crackle. I have a few ww. I will try it soon.
i found this on another site, hehe!
One site says the higher the fragrance load the more crackle you’ll get, while another says it is very important that you do not use too much fragrance oil. Maybe this just means not to go over the fragrance amounts recommended by the manufacturer.

I found this at Lonestar, I'll keep searching.
Wooden wicks are for use in containers, and should not be used in pillars or votives. Wooden wicks can be used in paraffin or soy. When using our wooden wicks in pure soy, we recommend using the large or extra large wick. This is to make sure the melt pool is wide enough since pure soy wax tends to hold in the heat, as well as fragrance.
To achieve a good "crackle" sound with the wooden wicks, it is very important that you do not use too much fragrance oil. The crackle is a direct result of the correct amount of fragrance oil, type of wax, and amount of dye being used. This one says they can be used in Pillars: http://www.woodcandlewick.com/

Does anyone know how I would make a white pillar candle with black cow type spots? With 4625.
I have an urgent need to do this for some unknown reason.

CB remember to wick 24 hours in advance. Stella always wrote that's what she did.

Got it!
Those are great!

I use eco14s in an 8oz tin. Sometimes Eco16s because of the fOs. Beautiful all the way down. There's a thread here somewhere with a pic I posted, but can't remember where it is.

Christmas Cabin
Red border mushrooms
Seriously, you expect someone to use between all of those gorgeous labels? I only know red for borders, & love all the others.

Sticks forever! I love this one!

Definitely harder. I like that I can trim my wicks without worrying about messing up the top of my finished candles. I don't have much experience with other waxes but this combo is definitely more opaque than straight 4627 but still capable of giving off rich, vibrant colors. Creamy? I guess so. I'm not sure what that means but it looks a lot like pure 4627 just harder. If you're looking for any trade-offs with blending with something 4786, I really can't think of any. In my opinion, the throw is amazing, maybe even a little better. And after being hard-headed about lowering my FO% (after all, more is better right?), I've finally jumped on the 1oz per lb bandwagon with no regrets. Finally, the biggest benefit --wicking is sooooo much easier!! I was getting really frustrated and feeling very defeated. Thank you so much to ChandlerWicks for suggesting the blend and putting me on the right track!
Somebody told me about blending & I ran with with it too! 4786 is such a great wax, but I could not give up my 4627. The two together are perfect!

Have you burned it all the way to the bottom yet? With my testing, when they hit the 1/2 way mark things usually change.
I hope you have & know your candle inside & out. I'm not trying to be arrogant or rude,(here comes the but!) but unless you're tested that candle for 1 hour for each inch width per burn & all the way to the bottom & than make a separate candle to powerburn, I don't feel it's safe to give, even as gifts. Good luck & if you've already done all of that stuff, awesome news!

OOOOOOHHHH, AAAAAAHHHHH, love it! Thank you so much for doing it!
No it doesn't look bad at all! It's fine the way you have it. 1 1/2 is really small! I'm surprised much of any lettering showing.
Do you have any really cool hearts on your program? I'm looking for for my logo but can't find one.

Very pretty! ebay is great for molds.

One more thing. Can you use the same font for natural soy that you use for your name? For some unknown reason, I feel there should be only be 2 different fonts. Name & info the same font & the scent a different one. Just so I can see!!!!!!!

I was actually doing online college for creating websites & logos & such, but had to stop for now, because I cannot concentrate! LOL!
