Hey thanks for the link TallTayl on the metal/foil tape. I looked for it at Walmart and could not find...do you order this or have you found it at a local supplier?  I use the duct tape and it worked fine BUT I was looking for this kind of tape. Did I overlook it or does it need to be special ordered? Thanks bunches Talltayl! Before we all know it, with everyone's input we will have this all down pat and be cranking out the most perfect pillars around.

Ask your husband for his tape he puts around heating & air conditioning tubes. Oh brother, they are the tubes that blow the air from vent to vent in the ceilings. Can't remember what they are called.

  It can be bought at Lowes or HD, that's where mine always bought it. Expensive tape.

Welcome! I always disliked the zincs, but now they burn great with 6% FO most of the time.

I used exactly their method, 2 51zincs in an apothecary jar. The LXs mushroom for me each & every time. I feel mushrooms take away from scent throw.

I think, try the Eco16. I do use the zincs in my paraffin blend. Could be the FO% is causing the mushrooms & soot.

I'm not Candybee and I don't think she responded to your question yet, but I have tried CC winter wonderland and I got no throw in the wax.  Out of the bottle it doesn't smell anything like Fillmore's Christmas tree.  They are both 2 different scents.  And I love CC and thought it was odd it wouldn't work for me.

Cajun Candles blend had awesome HT for me. The depth of the MP scared me. That's where the HT came from. I sent CCs a pic of the depth & they said it was good & that's the way it should look. I did 4786/4633.

Did you ever find your mind after you lost it, that day? You sound like me!

I love HTPs & CDs, but can't stand the mushrooms & black balls on the CDs. I have CSs & Candlewics Ecos, CSs are better because of the highmelt point wax on the wick. I rarely get mushrooms & if I do, it's because of too much FO. I was never able to find the right HTP to go in 464 & because the burns are so beautiful with Ecos, all the way down, I stopped trying the other two wick types. I have so many HTPs & CDs, I do hope I find a use for them someday.

 I think it's the citrus FO, because you're right that is a deep MP. Mine usually have a 1/8 wax rim until maybe 4th burn.
