I love their Micas and I also love their silicone log molds, I have ten so far and will eventually get more. No lining of molds and
the soap slips right out...Pure Perfection and the service is Fantastic!!!!!!
That's good to know, I ordered two of the tall molds & waiting very impatiently for their arrival!

When you ship USPS Priority , $50 ins. comes with it. I have been using USPS for ebay for about 4 or 5 years, love it. If they order over $50, maybe buy the signature confirmation.

I've set up at several shows in my area and I just realized no one had handmade soap there
You can do it, you can do it!

Could it be that when A&P says a certain wick is for highly scented candles that it means for a candle with a higher percentage of FO rather than for better scent throw?
That's what I was told, when I asked about them.

I would love to see information that is more suited to our level of business.

Shar, if you could ask your Dr. if you could take these two OTC meds. I receive a shot the day after chemo & it causes very bad bone pain. They have me taking 1 Claritin & 2 Aleves twice a day for 5 days after the shot. Not Claritin D just regular. They discovered while testing, that it works on the bone pain, also.

I don't get a chance to see this friend very often, she is so busy. We were meeting just a little while after I made the candles, so I went ahead and gave one to her. I don't normally give people warm candles. I do know that much....it was set up, just a tad still warm.
I'd have done the same thing. Most people have such busy schedules & the price of gas, you have to do what what works, as long as you're not selling it. I'm sure you did know that.

If you sell online (website, Etsy, Facebook group, etc.) I can try and add you. They will ask you to complete a doc with your web information as soon as they accept you in. It is a group of other online sellers. Helpful tricks and tips and also some good watch outs. Online sales and buyers are so very different from my local buyers. Message me with your Facebook info.
Me too!

Kinesis, not sure what type of container Chandler used, but in my post I was referring to the containers I used, that had a diameter close to 4", like these:
http://www.lonestarcandlesupply.com/products/candlecontainers_anchor-country-comfort-jar-16oz.html
and these:
http://www.lonestarcandlesupply.com/products/candlecontainers_libbey-candle-bowl-14.25oz.html
51z were ok if I used more than 6% FO load, or with heavy FOs.
Hth
I used similar Apothercaries. the thinner glass ones.

Using the CC 4786 and 4633, I found that two 44zinc wicks worked much better than two 51. Using two 51, the container just got way too hot for comfort. However, depending on the fo, some containers did need two 51z and did not overheat. Ht was great!
That jar got hot, hot! But the HT was the best I've ever had!

Thanks Chandlerwicks...I was back at Walmart tonight and did not find it there so on to someplace else, but yes even the tapes Walmart had is like buying gold...6-7$ for some tapes. Oh what we won't do to make an awesome pillar!
I am so glad that this thread came about...always something new to learn. Thanks so much TallTayl! Appreciate it.
It only takes a small amount.. I believe it costs around $15 or $16 a roll. It has a paper backing to keep it from sticking to itself.
