Polypropylene will keep your tarts fresh and Polyethylene will suck the scent out of the wax over time. You can find the Polypropylene Zip top bags at Paper Mart.

There's a company in Texas that charges about $30 to pick up, and bring you your order.... (They pick it up from Lone Star, and bring it to your business/home).. I don't re-call the name of the company, but one of my friends who lives in Texas saves a TON of money on shipping since she orders all her wax from Lone Star. i know Peak's uses the yellow bands

IMO, The KY Toasted Marshmallow sold at AH/RE is the best on the market.

Ok, Just kidding... Vickey said she is almost 100% sure the Gel coloring that AH/RE sells is NOT Food grade. She also said she used the Wilton gel coloring to color her soaps and lotions. Good to know!

If anyone is looking for the Wilton Silicone loaf mold: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003W0YZN8/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01 I called Wilton today, and it was discontinued.. Glad I found some on Amazon... I've only seen the Mini loaf molds in my local stores.

LOL, I hope they sent you a sample of it with the AH/RE order you just placed... I already added it to my list for my next order. (i'm just getting into making soaps.. and it's seriously one scent I would never get sick of)

Has anyone used the Wilton gel icing dye/coloring for coloring their M&P soap? A friend of mines told me it works just fine for M&P. (I've tried her soaps, and you can't even tell she's using it) I ordered some with a silicone loaf mold I just ordered since the seller had it really cheap. I just got a case of wax from AH/RE yesterday, and inside was a sample of the Clear M&P base, scented in Sea Kelp... WOW. What an amazing scent.

Also, Check your local Dollar Stores/Dollar Tree.. They usually have rubber/silicone ice cube molds you can use to make tarts.. They're a bit smaller.. but for a Dollar.. Well worth it... I see RE is adding some.. I got the same exact Scull and Cross Bones one for only $1.00 last Fall. -

I love Wilton molds.. If you have a Joann's Fabric by you and own a Smart Phone, You should download their app.. They have 50% off coupons like once a week it. I just bought a Wilton 4 cavity Mini Loaf pan (can be used for soap or tart loaves), for $5.00 with my coupon! -

Anyone using the KY Cinnamon Toast sold at AH/RE? Does it smell authentic to you? This is the only scent I have in my cart that i'm kinda iffy about.

Good to know! I am slowly revamping my scent list.. Dropping suppliers and picking up new ones.. I am going to Start with AH/RE, then ICS,CS, and Aztec (I love Aztec's Iced Lemon Cookie)

I currently use NG's and SOS. NG's is REALLY good for blending.. It sucks in B&B products.. doesn't smell like Pink Sugar to me (I have the real thing).. but in wax, melting/burning, it's pretty darn good. SOS Aquolina Pink Sugar (I think they just changed the name to "Pink Sugar Type" C&D maybe? lol) is really good in wax AND B&B products, but not nearly as strong as KY's. Aztecs Pink Sugar is BOMB.COM in B&B products.. (haven't had it in any wax products)... Smells nice and sweet, not too musky. I'm going to be placing an order today or tomorrow with RE/AH, so I'll make sure to get them as my free samples.

Has anyone tried AH/RE Stephenson M&P bases? Are they any good? or should I just order from BB (I'm in WA so shipping is $8) I was going to place an order for a bunch oils, and since the shipping is already $30.00, I might as well add a few extra items and get my monies worth.

I think the lids you're talking about are from Sam's Club.. I don't recall the brand, but if I remember correctly, They have a #5 on the bottom. Yes, I label them. As for the Dart brand, I use clear....200PC (cups) and 200PCL (lids).

Oops.... Never had any issues with the Dart brand cups leaking/sucking the scent out the wax.

Same issue... FO would eat out the bottom of the Solo cups. Also, the cups would suck the scent out of the wax over time... in about a month. I was using the Solo brand when I first started, to save money (it's the only brand I can buy locally).. big mistake... Whenever I see another Vendor using "frosted" cups, I always make sure they aren't using the Solo brand... I wasted a lot of money, and wish I would of had someone tell me the Solo cups suck. lol
