  2. Hopefully that is what they are called. One of the girls I work with does pedi-cures and asked me about making her one of these to wrap around her customers necks when she does pedi-cures. She wants one that she can heat up for the winter months. Never done this before. Any suggestions on what to use....recipes....and what to actually put it in that looks pretty? I have heard about corn, rice, and/or beans....anyone have any input. Thanks Angied
  3. I found the best thing to use to fill these with was a sryinge thingy that you inject meats with. I got mine at wally world. Its in the gadget isle....it worked perfectly....it has a long needle thing on it that fit all the way to the bottom of the packet. I hope this makes sense. Let me see if I can find a pic of what I am talking about. And the flat irons are the bomb to seal them. Angie Ok lets see if this works if so this thing is awesome!!!
  4. OK I hate to sound stupid but what is sodium lactate and where can I get some? I make hp and if it helps any I would love to try some:D Angie

  6. So Cindy, you just used it like you would an additive? Ok I may have to try that as well. Angie
  7. Ok, I got some of this from my secret buddy today:D and now I want to know how everyone uses it? Do you melt it down and mold it.....scent it....make liquid soap out of it......or just use it as is. I seen where you can use it in a scrub, has anyone tried that? I am going to be soooo busy tomorrow, I also got my m/p soap from the swap and got some slsa and cream of tarter.....now just deciding what to do first;) Angie
  8. Scented, yes it is a neon I believe. I got it in a goodie pack one of my buddies sent me. It is a really pretty color in person. Thanks for the nice comments. Angie
  9. I havent made soap in awhile, so I made a batch last night. It is colored in blue and scented with Island Cocktail. I tried to swirl but it looks more like marbling. It is cphp. It turned out pretty good....considering I have only a few batches under my belt. I dont sell so its fine for hubby and I;) Angie
  10. Ohhh yeah I almost forgot about the co-ops!! Cant wait to get mine:D Angie
  11. Personally I think ebay is alittle high priced for their soaps...check some suppliers its usually alittle cheaper and who knows maybe a better quality of soap;) HTH Angie
  12. Thanks for the info. sara. I may just have to order some. I have heard that it isnt as harsh as the slsa. And the price is about the same. Angie
  13. http://www.chemistrystore.com/sodiumcocosulfate.htm I was doing some research on the soap dish and found a post about this stuff, has anyone used it? Does anyone have an opinion on it? Thanks Angie
  14. Thanks everyone, I knew was you (and I) figured out what I was saying you all would be a great help:D . So now I need to order some slsa and settle on a recipe. Angie
  15. Yeah the whisk is where I seen it, I was just wondering what everyone thought about it. I may give it a try who knows, you never know until you try it huh? Angie
  16. Has anyone made the whipped soaps? How did it turn out? I have the day off tomorrow and thought that may be something I may try and was just wondering if it is as easy as it looks. Angie
  17. carolgrant:yay: I love you!!!!! Thanks so much for understanding what I was asking better than I did;) Thats what I was looking for but was having a hard time figuring out how to word it. Your the bomb!! Thank you again Angie
  18. spatreats4u, LOL sorry I just reread it and it was confusing:rolleyes2 so basically the CA causes the fizzing and the slsa causes the bubbles. From some of the recipes I have seen (I have saved a ton of them;) ) you usually use about the same ingredients just add either CA or SlSA to get what you want being either the fizz or the bubbles. Sorry to make things confusing. Thanks Angie
  19. is there a diff. other than one making bubbles and the other fizzing? I would love to try some of these but dont have any sls(or whatever is used yet) Are they basically made the same excepting for adding that? Hopefully I am making sense here:rolleyes2 And can you make each in different kinds of molds? And other than the bubbles and fizzing action is the bath melts around the same thing? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks so much Angie
  20. Thanks amber, thats what I was wondering. Angie By the way does anyone know where else to get these vita beads from that may be alittle cheaper? I really like them but they are alittle expensive.
  21. Hi all, Has anyone used jojoba beads? My friend catclaws and I are making a scrub and lotion where she uses vit-a-beads from WSP...and I love them but I was wondering if the jojoba beads were about the same as far as melting. Hopefully I am making sense. The vitamin e beads diperse (sp??) when you rub it into your skin....do the jojoba beads do that or are they more for exfoliation purposes? Thanks Angie
  22. They are quick about delivery and the prices are pretty good as well!! Didnt know about the free gift thing though, I'll have to do that next time;) Angie
  23. I love these too!! so basically just the liquid soap dyes will work? I have some powders can they be used? Thanks for the responses:highfive:
