    Last night I made (luckily only) 6 votives. I used a silicone mold (3 ounce), and Ky Para-Soy Tart/Votive Blend, an FO and metal wick pins. I used a thermometer and melted and poured as directed also I used a tiny tiny bit of chip for color. Tonight I removed the wick pin with the old whack the pin against a hard (metal) plate. The wick pin came out but about a 1/4 in of the wax hung onto the bottom of the wick pin. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to stop this from happening? Chris

    Well, I did it. I just ordered my first bottle of Mary Jane FO. I am buying this for a young friend who owns a coffee house that caters to the under 25 crowd. So he will be getting votives of this plus I work with a graphic artist (20 somethin' and I know he will like this too). Now that the weather is turning cooler though, I wonder: If I open my windows while making these, will the cops show up at my house for a little visit HA! Chris

    I am a clutz when it comes to glass thermometers. After breaking three in 5 months another chandler told me about the digital thermometer. I went to my local Bed, Bath and Beyond shop and bought a digital thermometer for under $20. This is also carried at Wal-Mart. I love mine. I always was concerned with my glass one being clipped to the side of the presto pot and how much additional heat came from the pot. The digital thermometer has a metal probe which you can insert directly into unmelted wax or whatever, and IMHO is much easier to work with. Plus, no glass for me to break Chris

    I have only seen 2 suppliers carry Mary Jane. I didn't know there were others. I am going to try and place an order from Peak's todayfor that scent and labels. And the other supplier well it has been over 2 months now since I ordered , (that order included the Mary Jane scent). I have cancelled that order and that supplier has now fallen off my ordering radar so to speak. Would you please let me know who else carries it? I am making these for some young friends. Chris
