  1. I just started up candles again, but when I was making them, the votives weren't a huge seller but they were steady for the most part!
  2. I've been trying to figure out what wick to use with my 16oz Mason Jars. I've tried 62-52-18's, but it doesn't seem to be able to get a FMP. I've let it burn for 4 hours 3 different times, and it still won't get there. I'm using 4627. Is there any way of double wicking it? If so, what size should I try? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  3. That looks great! I bet it smells great too!
  4. Me too, I'm with Peaks!
  5. Whenever I'm done working with fragrance oil, I ALWAYS use Dawn dish soap. It works great! And you only need alittle bit too. It's never mattered which Dawn dish soap it is, any of them work. Either that or you could try that Goop stuff that mechanics and whatnot use. I've used that too and it gets rid of the oil. HTH!
  6. That is a good idea! On the lid underneath the daisy lid, I have the warning label. I was also thinking about taking a picture of the "backside" of the jar so people could see the color better. I'll have to do that tomorrow when the sun is out. It's actually super easy to do the side by side colors/scents, anyone who makes smelly jellies should try it sometime!!
  7. Thanks! I hope the pictures don't look too bad :undecided lol And I will definately look into that site! Thanks again!
  8. Thanks everyone! I know it doesn't take a rocket scientist to make smelly jellies, but silly little me was just proud of my "idea". I have checked Online Labels and even for the price you pay, you don't get the amount you would as if you just getting plain white, matte labels. And since I was kinda strapped for money, I figured the white labels would be better than either handwritten or nothing. I do plan on switching to them in the future though! And thanks country bee!!
  9. I've never used CS Honeysuckle but I use Peak's Honeysuckle and I'd have to say I really like it. I personally think it smells like the real thing. Very floral, not at all perfumey. But that's just me. And it throws very good in my smelly jellies.
  10. Okay, an update on the bleeding. It must have just been how the light was hitting the blue and white one yesterday because the blue isn't bleeding into the white at all. Both are very seperate!
  11. Ooooo I love the colors too!! It looks really awesome!
  12. I'll try that today when the puppy is asleep. I could make all three colors scented Warm Apple Pie since it's the "all American dessert" (I think, if I remember right lol) And with the blue and white one in the picture, the blue is just BARELY seeping into the white. The white has a super duper light blue look to it, but it still looks good. And the Peach and French Vanilla one, neither colors are seeping into each other, each side is still very "seperate". Pretty much the same with the Downy Fresh and Fresh Linen one.
  13. I was just gonna say the same thing, looks like waves. Awesome!
  14. I think they look great!!! Very pretty.
  15. Thanks! I will keep everyone posted if the colors bleed or not
  16. LOL well too bad! JK!! I was going to go with a clear label, but money wise, the regular address labels worked for me right now. And I wanted to try something alittle different too. I try to get my "creativeness" on with the Smelly Jellies when our bloodhound puppy is sleeping (which is like NEVER! lol) But, I think they look cool and wasn't just something I copied from someone.
  17. I love the idea of layered candles with different scent in each layer, but I didn't think you could do that with Smelly Jellies or if anyone has tried it so I tried putting the scents side by side instead of ontop of each other. It actually works! I just cut a divider from the cover of an ice cream pail, and put it in the jar, put the 2 different scents on each side and slid the divider out.
  18. I got an aroma bud from NG of the Drag Strip and it does smell exactly like a mechanic's shop. First thing you smell is the motor oil then you can smell the burnt rubber. Not too bad!
  19. I love Peaks Botanical Orchard & Nectar. Not any flower smell impaticular, and kinda on the sweet side. Love it!
  20. I use this and it's actually quite strong cold and hot throw in my 4630. I use 1oz pp and everything else that you listed except I use 51-32s in my jars and I add UV Inhibitor. I'm not sure if that would make a difference or not, but I do get a strong throw. It's the only Eggnog fragrance I'll use. HTH!
  21. I was able to get this number off of ebay to call them if you'd like: 866-540-3229. HTH! Sorry to hear you're having such problems. That's why I only buy off of ebay and not sell. Hope this gets fixed!
  22. I've been pouring alot of Warm Apple Pie and Sweet Pumpkin Spice, so those are my current favorites!
