We've had a couple of requests for scents in HP. The first one is Almond Mint. We have an Almond fragrance (NG) we just got in and have Peppermint EO. We also have a very strong Honey Almond (MMS). I was thinking 3 parts Almond to 1 part Peppermint. With that combo, you think the peppermint would still overpower the almond? The second request is a Cherry Watermelon. I've read posts that say the watermelon will discolor to a brown. I have to order in both scents, and am kinda lost with this one. Again, afraid the cherry would overpower the watermelon. Has anyone had success with Watermelon in HP that hasn't discolored? Thanks for your input

Very nice!! We started making soap several months ago and absolutely love it. We try to soap about twice a week, making about four loaves a week. Once we got it down, we couldn't stop. It's so addictive!!

We are also too far to go to the Open House. However, when we lived in Ohio, NG had an Open House and we drove the three hours up for that . It was actually held in a house and Dreama was with them at the time. Don't know if she still is or not, but she was always so helpful. It's amazing how much NG has grown over the years. They've done a great job. I wish NG would consider an Open House special for all of the loyal customers that can't make it

We're soaping this weekend. We've got a lot to do. Our goal is Black Raspberry Vanilla, Lilac, Cool Citrus Basil, Nag Champa, Mango Peach Salsa and Black Canyon (all Peaks) and also Hydrogen (MMS). BUT we'll probably end up fixing drinks, sitting in the adirondack chairs on the deck and watching any storms that come across the river

I just went into my email account and there are 11 ... 11!? Some are the same email, sent multiple times. I wish someone could be smart enough to write a program that if you get spam mail, something is triggered in your system showing this was not initiated by anything you've done on your computer, therefore it's spam and is automatically sent back to the originator with a virus attached.

You know Maggie...I might just do that! My mom has been gone for almost three years now. Miss her dearly. I have boxes of her belongings. In one of the boxes, I came across her crochet hooks. She'd be thrilled to know I took up one of her passions. Now..If I could fit that in with my soap and candle business, new grandbabies and my scrapbooking and gardening. Hmmm...This may be something I look into doing in the fall. Thanks Maggie!

Thanks for posting Pam...I too found this scent to be really nice. Haven't poured yet. Hope to this next week (seems like I say that every week) If I pour by itself with 4630, I think we'll begin testing with LX...if we do a blend of 4630 and 464, I think (don't have my note right now), we decided to start testing with CD. You'll have to let us know how O&A is burning in your 4630

Would love to see them. Crochet gifts are the best. They last forever. My mom made each of the new grandbabies a baby blanket. She (and I don't know the terms), would crochet squares "tight" and alternate with squares that were loose. On the tight squares, she would go back and cross stitch different animals in pastel colors. I still have the one she made our son 25 years ago and it looks just as good as the day she made it. She got tons of orders for those blankets too. People loved em'

I watched and decided I was going to crochet too....I did for a short time, but never "had it" like she did. I wish I had kept trying. Your lil' characters are absolutely adorable. I'm envious. When I placed my fo order with CS, HS wasn't listed so I didn't get it. Just had to place another order for tins and selected HS as my free sample. Will see what I think. I agree with Candybee...Cs Honeysuckle Jasmine is amazing. If they could just get the Honeysuckle w/o the Jasmine to be as amazingly awesome...would def be a winner.

lsbennis...Was just browsing and saw this thread. You've obviously placed your order by now, but we order Hydrogen from them. It's one that a wholesale customer frequently requests in her GM soap, as well as the Honey Almond....by far the best ever. MMS sent a sample of Alice with one of our orders and we like that as well. If you placed your order for Hinoki Woods, Crystal Blue and Mona Lisa, what's your opinion on them and did you put them in wax, soap or b&b? Thanks so much

Got my order yesterday....As already mentioned about the honeysuckle, when we placed the order, we did not see it listed....until later in the day and when our order was already placed.

OOB - All three of these smell pretty much as described on CS's site:

Jamaica Me Crazy - To me the pineapple and the tangarine are dominate...really like this one

Beach Linen - The herbal notes stand out to me...almost smells like basil or something like that. I like this one too

Caribbean Teakwood - The scents described on their site is pretty accurate. I kept wondering where the "caribbean" came in at. But in the very end, I did get that clean/fresh whiff...if that makes sense.

Looking forward to seeing other reviews

Just placed my first order with Taylored Concepts (and....after I placed my order with CS), but CS didn't have some of the scents I needed. For those that have ordered from them, how is their shipping? And for those that have used the following scents, what did you think? I was trying to find a supplier that had all four scents I needed and not have to pay an arm and a leg from different suppliers for shipping. Anyway, I ordered:
