  1. i have tried several and really liked them. my favorite of ANY fo is their driftwood. it is just wonderful imo. however, it is not b&b safe. others that i like and are strong are:

    cozy cabin

twilight (heard this is a bbw dupe, no matter, it smells great!)

fall leaves - this smells alot like AH/RE but aztec's seems much stronger.

wanted to try their black tie, thought that sounded good, but it is no longer listed.

  2. i was lead to moonwork's patch by members here and to me it is the best without being the EO i have ever smelled. have used it in body oil, M & P and tarts/melts. tried it in 8 oz. square mason and have not got the wick down yet, but it smells great. however, i think she is out of it at the moment.

guess this didn't help much then.

    sorry-kris

  3. bert's angel smells nothing like the interlude or angelheart from AH/RE. IMO, bert's smells nothing like the candle science angel either. i really do not like bert's, although many of her oils are great, this has been regulated to use in my laundry. Candle Science angel is very nice, but that doesn't smell like the real angel either and it is not B & B safe. compared to a friend who buys the real stuff, we decided that the interlude is the closest to hers. 4. the black linen & amber is great! i love hippy christmas, but rename it. but i must say that my very fav from NG is lick me all over!! tarts and candles are excellent, plus it smells good enough for bath & body. very fruity, but sexy too.

  5. anyone know if this could be similar to scentsy's hemmingway? or is it just a regular apple & oak? the description sounds a bit like hemmingway and i have a friend who loves that. here are both descriptions:

Starkville apple wood-Crisp citrus and green apple are warmed with a hint of spice blended with a rich accord of cedar, sandalwood, balsam fir, patchouli and golden amber.

Hemingway Rich, ripe apples and warm, woody accents of sandalwood and cedar with hints of spice.

Scentsy is not too big around here and she would love it if i could supply it!

  6. just checked some of your recipes Candybee-they sound wonderful!! i have shea base, can i use that instead of the white base (without adding extra shea butter i'm thinking)? i am only on my 7th lb. of soap, and i have only used shea.

    thanks-kris

  7. coffeebean,

don't think anyone mentioned it, but Keystone candle is near Lewisburg PA. they carry GB 444-decent price. also, their pillar/votive/tart wax (1-2 blend or something) is good for tarts. i do not know how their shipping is since i have only ever picked up from them. since i too live in "hicksville" and they are about 45 mins. away from me, you might also be close!!

  8. "I love ICS's hot apple pie but there's nothing else I order from them...with RE I take advantage of their packaging sales and submit one big order every six months."

    from comfort scents

does this mean that it is just about time for a new sale??

    just preparing the old wallet!!

  9. i have blue sugar from BCN & Tennessee and oob they smell alike. BCN seems thicker though. i love the scent, but so far have not done anything with it but.... and i know.... i put a dot of pink sugar on 1 wrist and a dot of blue sugar on the other - rubbed together and it smelled terrific!! got many compliments that day at work. by the way, the straight oils didn't bother me at all, but i only do it to test for myself. but wow, they smelled great together!
