  1. How do you guys shrink wrap your products? Im looking for a shrink wrapper but all the ones Im finding are way too big and way too expensive. Can you guys tell me what kind of shrink wrap machine you use and what you paid for it? Possibly where I can find one also? Im doing a show in October and I would love to be able to shrink wrap my candles. Thanks so much for your help!

  2. Im looking for a small shrink wrap machine and all the ones Im finding are too big and too expensive. Does anyone have a small one that they didnt have to pay an arm and leg for? Also, is there anyother way to shrink wrap without a machine, such as purchasing the shrink wrap and using my heat gun to seal it? Thank you so much.

  3. Thats something I learned when I first started making candles, never to burn a container candle and then re-use the jar (or sell the jar) . I remember reading something about the glass cracking from re-use. I never researched it tho, I just decided that I wouldnt re-use jars, just to be on the safe side.

  4. Thank you Carol

My boyfriend's dad is an electrician and he said what Beth said - as long as the individual wires are still in their coating and not touching all you need to do is re-wrap in some electrical tape.

BUT if the wires are touching you'll probably just end up with a smokin' wire so be on the lookout for that. After you wrap it and use it - give it a feel to see if it's hot there. If it is - well gotta buy a new one!

  5. Last night when i was cleaning my molds and stuff, after I was done using my heat gun, I sat it upright on the counter. Apparently it was touching the cord and I didnt realize it. It melted the rubber on the cord and now I have wires exposed. Can I just wrap that spot with electrical tape or do I need to just buy a new heat gun? Please help :(

    Thanks!
